I chose to work at Curious Plot because it perfectly blends my passion for marketing with my lifelong connection to agriculture and food systems. Growing up on a farm and watching my grandpa continue to farm today shaped my appreciation for these industries and the people behind them. Internship (June–Aug. 2025):

As a Content + Copywriting Intern at Curious Plot, I elevated client brands by delivering high-impact writing across social media, articles, and ad copy. I boosted engagement by shaping creative direction and writing social content for social media accounts like @Mazuri and @CuriousPlot (on Instagram), produced compelling articles by interviewing subject matter experts and researching industry topics, and strengthened campaigns by bringing fresh ideas and innovative perspectives. I also increased ad effectiveness by crafting catchy headlines and copy for billboards, e-newsletters, and other platforms.

Contract Role (Aug. 2025–Present):

As a Digital Specialist Contractor, I manage digital campaigns and implement Urchin Tracking Modules (UTMs) to track performance and optimize results. I analyze publisher metrics and dashboards — including engagement, impressions, CTR, CTOR, and reach — to improve campaign effectiveness and drive data-informed decisions for clients.
